Soulful Beauty

Creating a coloring book centered around African American women has always been close to my heart. It's exciting to envision what this project could look like, even though I initially felt uncertain about what to include. After exploring various sources and perspectives, I realized I wanted to celebrate the unique beauty of Black women. I aim to highlight their diverse facial features and the incredible variety of hairstyles they embrace—everything from beautiful wraps and lengths to radiant smiles that convey joy and moments of introspection. My hope for this coloring book is to capture the essence of Black women in all their beautiful forms, reflecting their richness and resilience through art.
